VICE Media Group was a new collaboration of businesses born in the year when the whole world was sitting at home wondering what was to come. The great reset? A cultural renaissance? We weren’t sure. All we knew was we would be at the forefront of making it happen. To roll out the new Vice Media Group brand, we needed a tagline that let the world know that too.

I was one of many copywriters from around the globe that took a stab at writing this line. And mine took the W.

WHAT HAPPENS NOW.
It is a statement and a question. Because we don’t have all the answers.
It’s anchored in the present, but projects into the future.
It's a call to action. What happens now for you? For us? Today? Tomorrow?
It’s an invitation for VMG audiences to help us push the world forward.
